In August 2013 a gang of thieves was accused of seven bank robberies committed from 2010 onwards. The men committed the crimes masked and sporting the Rayo Vallecano football team's jerseys. Their arrest happened during one of worst moments of the economic crisis. The bank was being rejected as a reputable institution and the gang's leader was dubbed the “Robin Hood of Vallecas”. It's impossible to imagine a better story for a film noir; a story that is also a reflection of society. At least that's what León Siminiani believes. A half documentary filmmaker, half film professor, who has always dreamed of making a heist movie and feels that this is his chance.
