In just a few years, technology will merge with our bodies in unimaginable ways and push the boundaries of the human, extending our biological capabilities as a species. While current medical technology does not fundamentally change human nature, cyborgs are, by definition, something else: a merging of man and machine with the goal to go beyond and enhance human nature. This film explores the ongoing scientific research in medicine and high technology to assess how close science is to creating cyborgs.
