In 1970, Dennis Hopper shot The Last Movie in Chinchero (Peru), a lysergic tale about the possibility of an indigenous rebellion against a Hollywood film crew. The film was too experimental for the studios, so it has almost never been shown and Hopper himself was banned from directing for a decade.
44 years later, two Spanish filmmakers arrive at Chinchero with the intention of making a new film with the villagers about Hopper's legacy.
