The Disinherited is a portrait of the filmmaker's father and it bears witness to the end of the family's business. Pere Ferrés is a 53 year old man who owns a bus company. The lack of money forces him to organise bachelor parties during which customers destroy the vehicle for fun. Pere is about to close the business, but not at any price. After all, he is a man who writes the rules of his own world.
