In Toloriu, a small town nestled in the Catalan Pyrenees, exists the legend of Xipahuatzin, a princess, daughter of the Aztec emperor Moctezuma brought here by a baron of these lands, companion of Hernán Cortés. The princess had a son and a few years later, alone, she died of cold and sorrow. Using the story told by the current inhabitants of this land, this film explores the place where the princess lived and talks about the human relationship we have with the space we inhabit and the way we give it meaning.
