The action takes place in 2006 and 2016.
Jokanaan (John the Baptist) is confined to a high security prison, possible by mistake. A philosopher that has been mistaken for a terrorist.
A charismatic man who is against incest, Jokanaan refuses to listen to Salome's ambitions. He will refuse her. Yet the ambivalent Salome will hide her true identity until the very last moment... Salome will demand Baptist's head.
