Román is on the verge of taking his own life in a deserted train track when a piece of billboard with the word “marte” written on it is blown by a gust of wind, hitting him and pushing him aside and off the railway. In fact, it is a fragment of an advertisement that reads ''Apartamentos a precio de risa, ven a informarte'' but Román interprets what's happened as a sign: he has to travel with the new colonies to the red planet. At the same time, in a Lithuanian small village, two old men, using the fact that one of them was a cosmonaut to their advantage, create a disastrous company to instruct the future Martian colonists. Román travels to Lithuania with his girlfriend. There, instead of learning how to fly into space, he will receive the coordinates for his new journey on Earth.
